Entails quick (short burst sprints) to get your heart rate up to [ max / yellow / red ] (…on MyZone app) for as little as 30-60 seconds, then followed by a rest interval, to get the heart rate back to average heart rate ( Green Level on MyZone app).
This is performed over a 15-20 minute cycle.
20 minutes a day can cause a metabolic fat burn for up to 24 hours.
The best time for max fat burn is first thing in the morning.
